FAQs

Therapy involves the sharing of sensitive, personal, and private information that may at times require you to push yourself outside of your emotional comfort zone. The outcome of therapy is often positive; however, the level of satisfaction for any individual is not predictable. We will meet to conduct a thorough evaluation to assess whether our practice specialty aligns with your needs. If we find that we are unable to assist you, we will provide you with information on other providers for you to consider.
-
Yes — we believe therapy can benefit everyone.
If you do not have a diagnosis and want to use insurance, please note that insurance companies require a diagnosis to process claims.
Without a diagnosis, sessions would be self-pay.

We do not treat serious mental illnesses (SMI), which include conditions such as:

If you are experiencing any of these conditions, we encourage you to seek specialized care from a provider trained in these areas. We are happy to connect you with local comprehensive mental health clinics that can help.
